IPO Edge’s Jannarone: Crypto, AI & Big Players to Come for Future IPOs
By Karen Roman
IPO Edge Editor-in-Chief John Jannarone joined Schwab Network’s Nicole Petallides to discuss Bullish (NYSE: BLSH), Figma, Inc. (NYSE: FIG), Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL) and others as the biggest names that went public in 2025.
Mr. Jannarone mentioned this year’s busy summer has seen crypto IPOs surging as federal regulation favors the industry and investors expect one to two interest rate cuts. He also said the market is looking forward to the future IPO of Gemini who filed recently, as well as Klarna and Stripe.
With the demand for the use of a stable coin for transactions, Mr. Jannarone explained why more institutional investors are becoming interested in crypto and assets such as Ethereum USD Price (CCC: ETH-USD).
Mr. Jannarone highlighted the upcoming IPO of The Ether Machine via a SPAC transaction with Dynamix Corp. (Nasdaq: DYNX). This company was founded by Andrew Keys (Chairman) and David Merin (CEO) and the IPO is expected by the last quarter of 2025.
He also explained why AI and tech companies like Figma, Inc. (NYSE: FIG) have gone public, as well as the lockup period for IPOs and secondary offerings such as the case of Circle Internet Group (NYSE: CRCL).
