

Two LPG tankers carrying a combined LPG cargo of 94,000 MT have safely transited the Hormuz and are on their way to India, with one arriving tomorrow and the other on April 1, 2026.
The crew onboard the tankers chanted slogans like ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ while expressing their gratitude towards the Indian Navy, which escorted them safely.
The BW TYR is sailing towards Mumbai and is expected to reach the port on March 31, and BW ELM is heading to New Mangalore, with its scheduled date of arrival being April 1.
The Indian Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas has assured that all measures are in place to uphold the safety of Indian ships and seafarers operating in the Middle East.
The Ministry added that all Indian seafarers are safe and no incidents involving Indian vessels have been reported in the past 24 hours.
