The Kremlin said he expressed confidence that the Iranian people would overcome current challenges, emphasizing Russia’s continued backing amid the ongoing U.S.-Israeli war against Iran.
Russia has sharply criticized the conflict, blaming U.S. and Israeli actions for pushing the Middle East into crisis and contributing to a broader global energy shock. Moscow has also condemned the killing of Iran’s previous supreme leader, calling it a “cynical” act.
