IAG Cargo reports €629 million revenue in H1 2025

Strong First-Half Results

IAG Cargo, the cargo division of International Airlines Group, earned €629 million in the first half of 2025. That’s an 11.1% rise compared to the same period last year. Cargo volumes increased by 4.5%, and yields rose by 6.4%.

Despite ongoing global challenges, IAG Cargo saw solid growth across key markets and products.

Focus on Digital and Operational Efficiency

The company credits much of its success to continued investment in digital tools and service upgrades. Recent improvements include real-time cargo tracking, predictive analytics, and more responsive self-service tools.

These updates are helping teams make faster decisions and boost delivery reliability across the network.

Latin America-Europe Routes Drive Growth

The Latin America to Europe trade lane delivered strong results. Tonnage rose 19.3% in the first half of the year, fueled by high demand for perishables moving in both directions.

IAG Cargo’s network strategy helped meet that demand and reinforce its position in this vital trade corridor.

High-Priority Shipments Surge

Shipments of IAG Cargo’s Critical product jumped 30.5% during the period. The service is tailored for time-sensitive and high-value goods. This growth signals rising customer trust in IAG Cargo for urgent deliveries.

Global Cargo Partnership on the Horizon

Work continues on the upcoming joint business with Qatar Airways Cargo and MASkargo. The partnership, expected to launch later in 2025, will bring new route options, better efficiency, and wider connectivity across major markets.

Once operational, the alliance will make it easier to book and move cargo across Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas.

As part of the partnership, the companies have pledged 1,000 tonnes of cargo space to support the UN World Food Programme’s humanitarian efforts.
