Maersk to remove ASAS2 voyage on Asia East Coast Latin America service
Maersk has announced a schedule adjustment on its Asia–East Coast Latin America ASAS2 service in connection with the upcoming Chinese New Year holidays and in response to demand fluctuations.
The carrier said it will remove one westbound and one eastbound voyage from the rotation. On the westbound leg, voyage 609W will be omitted, with the first affected port being Shanghai, originally scheduled for 24 February 2026.
On the eastbound leg, voyage 615E will be removed, with the first affected port being Santos, which had been scheduled for 4 April 2026.
Maersk said the adjustment is intended to align capacity with seasonal demand patterns while minimizing disruption across the Asia–East Coast Latin America trade lane.
