ONE expands Belawan service

Ocean Network Express has announced an extension to its Belawan Service 1, known as BMX, adding Kuala Tanjung in North Sumatra, Indonesia as a new port of call.

The enhancement takes effect with the arrival of MV Sinar Sunda at Kuala Tanjung on March 9, 2026.

The updated port rotation will follow a Singapore–Belawan–Kuala Tanjung–Singapore sequence, strengthening connectivity between Singapore and North Sumatra while providing Kuala Tanjung with direct access to ONE’s broader global network through the Singapore hub.

The addition is intended to improve supply chain efficiency for cargo moving between North Sumatra and international markets, offering shippers in the region a more direct routing option than was previously available on this service.
