CMA CGM sets new FAK Rates from Indian Subcontinent to Europe and Latin America

CMA CGM has announced new Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates for shipments from the Indian Subcontinent to Europe, North Africa, and Latin America.

Indian Subcontinent to Europe and North Africa

The new rates will apply from April 1, 2026, until further notice.

Origins:

  • North West India

  • Pakistan

  • South East India

  • Sri Lanka

Destinations:

  • North Europe

  • The Mediterranean Sea region

  • North Africa

Rates:

  • USD 4,000 per 20’ and 40’ container to North Europe and the Mediterranean

  • USD 5,000 per 20’ and 40’ container to North Africa

Indian Subcontinent to Latin America

Additional FAK rates will apply from April 7, 2026 for shipments from the Indian Subcontinent to Central America and the West Coast of South America.

Key destinations include Buenaventura, San Antonio, Callao, Guayaquil, Cartagena, Kingston, and Manzanillo.

Rates range between USD 3,700 and USD 6,000 per container, depending on the destination and container size.

The rates apply to dry and hazardous cargo and are based on the gate-in date at origin ports.
