Hellmann and Motherson launch automotive logistics JV
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and Samvardhana Motherson International Limited (Motherson) formed a joint venture to create a specialized global automotive logistics company. The JV combines Hellmann’s logistics network with Motherson’s automotive supply chain expertise.
The company will offer integrated supply chain solutions for the global automotive industry. It will support both partners’ growth and sustainability goals. Operations start in June 2026, headquartered in Dubai. Additional locations in Europe, North America, India, and the Middle East are planned as the business expands.
The JV strengthens Hellmann’s Forward2030 growth strategy and its position in automotive logistics. Motherson contributes its D.E.M.A.L capabilities, including design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and logistics, with access to 30,000+ suppliers and OEM partners. Hellmann provides execution, 4PL solutions, and supply chain technology.
Both companies share a commitment to Carbon Net Zero targets. They will extend proprietary technologies and dedicated teams to customers to promote sustainable practices across the industry.
Mr. Arjun Kochhar, CEO of Motherson Logistics Solutions, said the partnership will deliver resilient, agile, and sustainable logistics networks. Madhav Kurup, Hellmann’s Global COO for Airfreight, Seafreight, and Contract Logistics, said the JV builds a platform that enhances supply chain resilience, agility, and sustainability globally.
