Wan Hai Lines announces rate restoration on Asia trades
Wan Hai Lines has announced a Rate Restoration (RR) on selected Asia trades in response to recent developments in the Middle East and the resulting changes in operating conditions.
The adjustment will take effect from 15 April 2026 and will be applied at USD 100 per 20-foot container and USD 200 per 40-foot container.
According to the carrier, the rate increase reflects rising operating costs driven by external factors and is intended to support stable and reliable service across its network.
Wan Hai Lines said it will continue to monitor market conditions closely and adjust its approach as needed, while maintaining service quality and continuity.
Customers have been advised to contact local Wan Hai representatives for further details.
