Evergreen and T.S. Lines agree slot swap on Asia–Japan services
Evergreen Marine Corporation and T.S. Lines have entered into a new slot swap agreement covering their respective JPI and JHTN services

Evergreen Marine Corporation and T.S. Lines have entered into a new slot swap agreement covering their respective JPI and JHTN services connecting China, Taiwan and Japan.

The agreement involves one-way slot exchange arrangements on both services, allowing each carrier to expand network coverage without deploying additional vessels.

Under the arrangement, T.S. Lines will obtain slots on Evergreen’s JPI service, which is operated by Evergreen and calls ports including Kaohsiung, Taipei, Tokyo and Yokohama. Additional calls on the service include Nagoya, Kobe, Hong Kong, Jakarta and Semarang, although some ports are excluded from the slot swap arrangement.

Meanwhile, Evergreen will secure slots on T.S. Lines’ JHTN service, which connects Shenzhen (Shekou), Xiamen, Osaka and Kobe, while also including calls at Kwangyang, Busan, Keelung and Taichung, with selected ports excluded from the agreement.

The cooperation is expected to strengthen service flexibility and network coverage across Northeast Asia while improving connectivity between China, Taiwan and Japan trade corridors.
