The supplies onboard are crucial for those in need and include items like baby formula, rice, flour, diapers, sanitary products, water purification kits, crutches for mobility assistance, children’s prosthetics, and various medical supplies.

Among the twelve international volunteers aboard are notable figures such as Swedish climate advocate Greta Thunberg and French-Palestinian MEP Rima Hassan. The ship is named after Madleen—the first female fisherwoman from Gaza—symbolizing resilience against oppressive policies that lead to collective suffering.This mission comes shortly after another vessel from the FFC faced drone attacks while navigating international waters near Malta.
