Introducing Georgia's First Airline Bank Card: A New Partnership Between TBC, Turkish Airlines, and Visa
According to a recent declaration from TBC Georgia, a prominent financial services provider in the South Caucasus and part of the London-listed TBC Bank Group, they have introduced an innovative co-branded premium debit card in collaboration with Turkish Airlines and Visa.
This new offering marks Georgia’s inaugural co-branded bank card linked to an international airline, showcasing TBC Georgia’s ambition to enhance its retail banking portfolio. Exclusively available for clients of TBC Concept 360 and TBC Wealth Management—its premium banking services—the Turkish Airlines Visa card allows users to earn miles throughout their travel experiences. This includes everything from booking flights and accommodations to dining out or using local transport within Georgia.
The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on june 12 in Istanbul between TBC Georgia,Turkish Airlines,and Visa. Cardholders can redeem their earned miles via the Turkish Airlines app or website for various benefits such as flight bookings,extra baggage fees,cabin upgrades,seat selections,or shopping at the airline’s online store.
Beyond just accumulating miles, users will enjoy exclusive benefits like ten complimentary airport lounge access passes and expedited security checks for themselves plus three guests. Additional perks include discounts on taxi rides to/from Tbilisi International Airport and reduced rates on international roaming services.
This groundbreaking initiative by TBC alongside Turkish Airlines and Visa highlights its dedication to enhancing customer experience while reinforcing its status as a leading bank in the region. Building upon the success of its flagship debit product—TBC Card—which has reached over 260,000 customers by Q1 2025 (a threefold increase year-over-year), this new offering aims to provide added value for premium clients while fostering loyalty.
