Forty containers collapse on Evergreen ship

One of Taiwanese liner operator Evergreen Marine Corporation’s operated ships has been berthed in Montevideo, Uruguay, since 29 July, after a stack collapse amid stormy weather.

The 2021-built 11,850 TEU Ever Feat encountered bad weather while sailing from Brazil’s Navegantes port to Montevideo on 28 July. The ship arrived at Montevideo the following day, with damaged cargo holds and containers.
