SeaLead chartering other ships to replace sanctioned vessels

Singapore-based SeaLead Shipping told Container News that it is in discussions to charter some post-Panamax container ships as it rebuilds its fleet after cancelling charters on 16 sanctioned ships early this month.
Consultancy Linerlytica said this week that SeaLead has taken the 2000-built 6,078 TEU BZ Chongfu for two years from Chinese owner Baozhou Shipping in a deal that was fixed before the sanctions fiasco.
