SeaLead chartering other ships to replace sanctioned vessels

Singapore-based SeaLead Shipping told Container News that it is in discussions to charter some post-Panamax container ships as it rebuilds its fleet after cancelling charters on 16 sanctioned ships early this month.

SeaLead fleet disrupted by US sanctions

Consultancy Linerlytica said this week that SeaLead has taken the 2000-built 6,078 TEU BZ Chongfu for two years from Chinese owner Baozhou Shipping in a deal that was fixed before the sanctions fiasco.
