HMM splits Intra Cross Network into two dedicated regional loops
HMM has announced a restructuring of its intra-Far East Intra Cross Network (ICN), which will be split into two separate service loops, to enhance regional coverage and operational focus.
Under the new structure, one loop will concentrate on Indonesia, while the second will serve Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, allowing HMM to better align capacity with intra-Asia trade flows.
According to DynaLiners, the two new services will operate as follows:
KIS – Indonesia-focused loop
The KIS service will connect Northeast Asia with key Indonesian ports, operating on the following rotation:
Inchon – Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Jakarta – Surabaya – Inchon
KVX – Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam loop
The KVX service will link Northeast Asia with Southeast Asia, covering Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam, with the rotation:
Busan – Shanghai – Ningbo – Sihanoukville – Laem Chabang – Singapore – Ho Chi Minh City – Busan
The split of the ICN into two dedicated loops is expected to improve schedule reliability and provide more targeted connectivity across key intra-Asian markets.
