Japanese lessor SBI grows its boxship portfolio
Japan’s SBI Leasing is widening its interest in the container segment, and has picked up two 15,000 TEU container ships from Zodiac Maritime in a JOLCO (Japanese Operating Lease with Call Option) transaction.
MSC Auriga and MSC Orion, both built in 2020 at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, were commissioned by Zodiac Maritime for a 15-year charter to MSC.
