Bee Logistics Indonesia deploys professional inter-island transportation services

Bee Logistics Indonesia has launched two dedicated inter-island transportation services to support the growing domestic trade market across the Indonesian archipelago, which spans more than 17,000 islands. The services are designed to strengthen supply chains, reduce operating costs, and improve logistics efficiency.
The first service covers the movement of vehicles using Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) vessels combined with specialized road transport. This service connects major routes such as Jakarta–Medan, Jakarta–Banjarmasin, and Medan–Pontianak. According to the company, combining Ro-Ro shipping with trucking enables more reliable delivery schedules while reducing handling risks and costs.
The second service focuses on multimodal transport for palm oil tanks, heavy equipment, and industrial machinery. Shipments from Jakarta to remote regions, including Papua, are handled by Ro-Ro vessels and road transport, supported by cranes with up to 60-ton capacity. Customs clearance procedures are also managed as part of the service.
Bee Logistics Indonesia stated that these new offerings are intended to meet the growing demand for efficient cargo movement between islands while supporting agricultural and industrial projects across the country.
