Ellerman adds Gdynia–Bilbao service via Finnlines slot

Ellerman City Liners has expanded its service offering by adding a Gdynia–Bilbao connection through slot capacity on the iPEX3 service, using the Ro/Ro-multipurpose Baltic–Iberia loop operated by Finnlines, part of the Grimaldi Group.

The service is operated by vessels with a capacity of 600 TEU and 5,800 lane metres, combining container and rolling cargo capabilities. The rotation includes Helsinki, Kotka, Gdynia, Antwerp, Sheerness, Zeebrugge, Bilbao, followed by return calls at Zeebrugge, Antwerp and Gdynia, before sailing back to Helsinki.

By leveraging Finnlines’ Baltic–Iberia network, Ellerman City Liners strengthens its connectivity between Northern Europe and the Iberian Peninsula, offering customers additional routing options and flexible capacity across key European trade lanes.
