AD Ports Group confirms full operations amid Strait of Hormuz tensions
AD Ports Group confirmed that all operations across its clusters continue as normal despite regional developments.
The Group activated its crisis management and business continuity plans. It coordinated closely with UAE authorities to protect employees, partners, and stakeholders. It continues to provide uninterrupted services to customers.
All UAE ports and terminals managed by the Group’s Ports Cluster remain fully operational. Related marine and logistics services also continue without disruption.
Traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has declined. As a result, vessel calls at Khalifa Port may decrease. However, Khalifa Port remains fully operational. The Group expects higher volumes across its global network as trade routes shift.
Most of the Group’s 122 vessels operate outside the Strait of Hormuz. Ships currently inside the Strait continue intra-Gulf services. The Group expects only limited impact on its Maritime & Shipping Cluster. It also anticipates minimal disruption to its Economic Cities, Free Zones, and Logistics Clusters.
Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO, said global trade remains resilient during geopolitical tensions. He added that disciplined execution and proactive risk management position the Group to support stable supply chains worldwide.
AD Ports Group continues to monitor developments closely. It will provide updates as the situation evolves.
