Rohlig SUUS launches daily Poland-Slovakia groupage line
Rohlig SUUS Logistics, a leading logistics operator in the region, has launched a new daily groupage connection between Rzeszów, Poland, and Košice, Slovakia. The service strengthens SUUS’ network and enables efficient distribution across eastern Slovakia.
The Rzeszów–Košice line operates in both directions on working days with a 24-hour transit time. It connects fully with SUUS’ domestic network in Poland, allowing seamless transport to other regions and broader European markets. This expansion complements the integrated groupage network covering Poland, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary within the V4 region.
Piotr Szałkiewicz, European Road Network Director at Rohlig SUUS Logistics, said:
“The new line improves our coverage in Slovakia, especially in the eastern regions. It also enhances our overall network, allowing us to serve the entire Slovak market efficiently. We plan to continue expanding in other CEE countries where we operate.”
Beyond the Rzeszów–Košice line, SUUS offers daily connections from Katowice to Zvolen and Martin, covering central Slovakia, and Katowice via Brno to Bratislava, linking western Slovakia with the Czech Republic.
The Rzeszów logistics center provides end-to-end support, including warehousing, co-packing, cross-docking, and customs clearance.
Gergely Fonod, Managing Director of SUUS Slovakia, added:
“Slovakia’s industrial and trade sectors, particularly automotive and electronics, rely on efficient road transport. Our expanded network enhances domestic distribution, strengthens Polish trade routes, and opens access to markets in Germany, Scandinavia, the Baltics, and key Polish seaports.”
